September Poetry Slam Open
This is the first open qualifier for the 2008 -2009 Houston Poetry Slam season. The new season for Houston Poetry Slam begins with this slam open to any and all poets. Poets who finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place receive ranking points to qualify them for good positions in Super Slam Week prelims and the chance to make the 2009 Houston Slam Team. Any poets wanting to be enter Super Slam Week ranked need to come to this open slam @ the White Swan in the historic 2nd ward.
