2009-10 Slam Rankings

These are the latest rankings for the Houston Poetry Slam 2009 – 2010 poetry slam open season. The top 12 -16 individual or team of poets from the regular season go to Super Slam Week. The top 8 individual or team of poets who survive Super Slam Week go to The Grand Slam Final. The poet or team that can get and keep the top ranking is rewarded with the choice of their spot in the first round of the Grand Slam Final in February. These eight highest ranking team or individuals will compete in the Grand Slam Final in two separate bouts. Only the top two winners of those bouts will become the four starters for the 2009 Houston Slam Team. The top runner up may become an alternate. Here are the latest rankings.
