Houston Poetry Slam

The 2009 National Poetry Slam, the largest team performance poetry event in the world, will begin August 4th and go through August 8th in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida . This year, 68 teams from all over North America and a few from around the world will converge on this southern coastal town for five days of poetic battle to see who will be the top five teams to make it to the final stage.
