Houston Poetry Slam Gets 2 Wins!

Each year Poetry Slam Incorporated all poetry slams like Houston Poetry Slam are required to achieve 2 wins versus neighboring teams in regional bouts called Win and Ur In bouts. Obtaining these two wins guarantees a team a spot at the next National Poetry Slam. On Saturday night a team composed of poets Trinity, Savannah Blue, Brother Said, and one of Houston Poetry Slam’s top ranker Jem represented Houston Poetry Slam and defeated two Dallas teams and Ft. Worth to achieve two wins! Congratulations to the Houston Poetry Slam.
