Houston Poetry Slam Can Help Start a Slam in Your Community

Houston Poetry Slam can come to you. In the past we wanted one central location for our slams, thinking that a central location would be the most convenient for our patrons. We’ve been attracting poets and patrons from all over the city over the years, but we’ve noticed that those who come from the farthest reaches of the metropolis stop coming even though they love the slam when they see it. This huge city has always demanded that it’s citizens rely on automobiles to get around town, and the ever increasing cost of fuel is making that even harder.

We still want a central location (a venue on Houston Ave would be perfect). But we want at least four more.
