There is now perfect peace between Houston’s two slams which have come together for the good of the local poetry community. One time bitter rivals, Houston Poetry Slam and the H-town Slam organized this new once a year event to help poets qualify for BOTH slams. Poets can use their score from this slam to qualify for the Houston Slam Team AND the Htown Slam Team. Come on out and cheer on the poets and the celebration of peace. It’s the Unity Slam!
This is also your LAST CHANCE to qualify for Super Slam Week. Poets that want to enter Super Slam Week ranked need to arrive early to get a spot in at this slam.
